Discover Chikunto Safari Lodge

Situated in Zambia’s South Luangwa National Park, Chikunto is a small-scale safari lodge accommodating just 12 people. It enjoys sweeping views of the Luangwa River and welcomes couples, families, and parties of friends. The tailored safari experiences on offer include game drives, walking safaris and river safari activities in the emerald season.

The lodge offers 4 luxury tents and 1 family tent, each built on raised decking. Inside the tents, you will find king or twin beds with a mosquito net, as well as comfortable seating and an ensuite bathroom. A covered outdoor seating area is adjoining each tent. The thatched main lodge area houses a cosy bar and dining area. For a cool down between activities, there’s a salt-water swimming pool where you can view wildlife from your sun lounger. The lodge also has an inviting fire pit which is a popular meeting place before safari activities and around dinner time. Weather dependant, meals will be enjoyed al fresco on the deck, and sometimes, in various locations in the park.
