Lion Camp
Lion Camp is situated at the end of the Great Rift Valley in South Luangwa and offers arguably some of the best views the national park. With decks overlooking the river and plains, eagle-eyed guests will be kept busy with the contestant footfall of wildlife around the camp.
With just 8 luxury suites and 2 deluxe suites, the camp offers exclusivity and tranquillity in between the excitement of game drives and walks. Each suite is raised up upon a wooden platform providing guests with the best view possible of the surrounding plains and river. For guests looking for a bit of extra romance, the deluxe suites offer an outdoor bath so guests can bathe under the Zambian night sky. Each suite has a four-poster king size bed and en-suite facilities.
In between game drives guests can relax by the pool and soak in some late afternoon sun, or spend time curled up with a book the reading area in one of the camp's many private nooks. For guests looking for an evening of fun, the camp has a real-size snooker table for the competitive spirits. The camp is also happy to offer free WiFi, and 24 hour electricity and running water.
Meals in camp focus on fresh ingredients all made by local Zambian chefs. Guests can enjoy African-fusion themed meals, with menus changing daily to give guests variety during their stay.
