Toka Leya Camp is nestled in the western sector of the Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park overlooking the mighty Zambezi River. Guests at Toka Leya can immerse themselves in the thrill of a safari and visit the mighty Victoria Falls.
The camp consists of 12 spacious en-suite safari-style tents including family units. Tent interiors boast cool wooden flooring, tasteful, uncluttered African decor in earthy hues, and expansive wooden decks from which to soak up the views of the Zambezi River. The sights and sounds of birds, elephants, and grunting pods of hippos can be enjoyed from the privacy of tent decking. The dining, lounge, and bar areas of the camp offer ample space for relaxation and are complemented by an infinity pool. Meals are served on the sundeck, the pool deck, and the dining room all overlooking the Zambezi. A great hit with young visitors is the wood-fired pizza oven. There is also a curio shop that exhibits a fine selection of local crafts.
Long stay discount: Stay 6 nights or more at any Wilderness camp and receive a 5% discount on accommodation. The location relative to the falls was perfect - not too close that we felt crowded, but close enough that the multiple drives over the the falls were not arduous.
