Tongabezi Lodge is a secluded and exclusive hideaway on the banks of the Zambezi River just upstream of Victoria Falls. The lodge offers a selection of houses and cottages, each beautifully furnished using local materials and each with its own valet who takes care of you throughout your stay, acting as a private concierge.
Tongabezi provides 5 river cottages; 4 houses which are Honeymoon House, Bird House, Nut House (plunge pool), and Tree House (fully open room), and 2 family houses which are Garden House and Dog House (both come with a plunge pool). You can dine beside the river or on your own private terrace. Game drives, bush walks, and boating trips are all included and Victoria Falls can be viewed on foot in the national park, from inside the gorge, from Livingstone Island, and from the air.

Holiday to Tongabezi Lodge
We stayed in one of the River Rooms with great views of the river.
Lizzy was our butler who surprised us every meal with a different place to eat. Most were outside and all overlooking the river. The Sampan dinner was particularly special.
We had a trip to Devil’s Pool at the falls and a day in Zi…
Staff friendly, lots of activities on offer, room was beautiful, clean, romantic and secluded. The gentleman responsible for making our stay as comfortable as possible(which included our room, dinner arrangements, etc.) was excellent at his job!
