Old Mondoro provides you with a base from which to search for elephants, hyenas, hippo,s and buffalo in the staggering natural beauty of the Lower Zambezi National Park. Leopard sightings are particularly noteworthy in the camp's locale, a spectacle you can take in while exploring the wilderness on foot or by game drives.

The camp features 4 reed and stone chalets and 1 two-bedroom en-suite family cottage, dotted along the bank of the confluence of the Zambezi and the Chakwenga River. The chalets have canvas roofs and blinds with window screens, as well as an outdoor shower and bath. You may be visited by elephants for your lunch and dinner is enjoyed under the stars. Afro/Euro fusion cuisine is served by the imaginative chef.
