Sausage Tree Camp offers 7 luxurious Bedouin-style tents, each with private open-air bathrooms, with running hot and cold water and flush "loos with views". The luxury suites also offer large deck areas, lounge space and a private plunge pool to relax on the hot Zambian afternoons. There is also one large family two-bedroom house known as Kigelia House, perfect for families or an exclusive experience. The house is complete with a living area, as well as a private deck and pool space. The camp's lounge and dining area is also a Bedouin tent with open sides to really enhance the views of the river and wooden decks reaching almost to the river bank. It is here that you will find a small library, dining room table and bar. Pre-dinner drinks under the stars are had around the camp's fire pit in front of the bar. Top-notch cuisine is served in the dining room, on the outside deck or in surprising locations. The swimming pool provides a welcome relief from the heat of the day as well as fantastic views of the river.
