In a quiet corner of the South Luangwa National Park, under towering mahogany trees lies Bilimungwe Bush Camp. With strong African influences, the camp is stylishly designed and provides comfortable accommodation while enjoying your safari.
Raised above the ground on wooden decking, Bilimungwe's main area is centered around a shady lounge, ideal for midday relaxation as you look out from your vantage point across to the waterholes and wildlife beyond. There's also a dining area and bar, all under a quaint thatched roof and flanked by mahogany and winter thorn trees. The 4 large chalets reflect their surroundings in their natural decor, with walls built of cane and reed and thatched roofs rising high. These natural hues are juxtaposed with bright African textiles that bring splashes of colour to the comfortable rooms. Mosquito nets are provided over the beds and behind a reed wall guests will find a bathroom with a flush toilet and waterfall shower.
