Situated in Southern Africa, Zambia is a landlocked country of rugged terrain with rivers and wetlands that attracts a diverse range of wildlife. With a subtropical climate, Zambia's weather is defined by a wet and dry season.
The dry season runs from May to October when there is little to no rainfall and humidity is very low. The wet season is from November to April with most rain in December, January, February and March and high humidity. The further north you go, the earlier the rain arrives and the later it leaves.
