Discover Verney's Camp

Verney's Camp is situated in a private concession located on the central side of the popular south eastern part of Hwange National Park. This is an extremely remote and unspoilt part of Hwange National Park that is not accessed by regular park visitors, promising ultimate exclusivity. The Camp is fringed by teak forest that opens up onto an impressive wildlife-rich waterhole.

There are 8 luxury tents and 2 family luxury tents at Verney's Camp which are tucked perfectly under the arms of the teak trees that border the open waterhole, ensuring privacy and serenity to allow you to enjoy the stunning surroundings. Each room has an en-suite, flush toilet and a double vanity which are all designed to retain the authenticity of being on safari. Situated in one of the best wildlife areas in Hwange, Verney's Camp offers fantastic game viewing either at the waterhole or while out on activities. With the addition of a swimming pool, library and antique bridge table, you have all you need to stay entertained while escaping the bustle of everyday life. The Camp also offers an interesting and informational half-day cultural experience which allows you to visit a local school, an authentic rural village and The Painted Dog Research Centre to learn about the endangered African Wild Dog.
