Found in a private concession in the game rich Hwange National Park, famous for its huge elephant population, Somalisa Acacia is a very small and intimate camp, with its own waterhole. The camp is best suited to small groups or families, wishing to enjoy a private safari experience. Big game often frequents the waterhole, with elephant and buffalo often paying a visit.
Somalisa Acacia offers 2 family tents with interleading and 2 standard units. The rooms all have en-suite bathrooms with indoor and outdoor showers, completed with roll-top bathtubs. Luxuriously furnished, the tents offer a classic tented experience with strong levels of comfort. Built on wooden platforms, the tents are spacious, possessing comfy beds and stunning modern touches. Spend your days exploring and cool nights beside your glass wood-burner fireplace. Somalisa Acacia is not far to the west of Somalisa Camp and lies under a charming canopy of acacia trees. The main camp area offers guests a lounge and dining area, as well as a small swimming pool, which is known to be quite popular with the local elephants, which use it as their own personal watering hole.
