Discover Nyamatusi Mahogany

Situated in the heart of Zimbabwe's Mana Pools National Park, Nyamatusi Mahogany is an amazing family wilderness experience. The camp is just minutes from its sister property, Nyamatusi Camp, but offers a more family-focused luxury safari. The camp derives it's name from the mahogany trees it's nestled under, shaded from the hot Zimbabwean sun.

An explorer's and elephant-lover's paradise, Mana Pools offers a wealth of game viewing and close encounters with the nearby elephants. The magnificent giants often come close to the camp and you can enjoy watching them ambling by from the comfort of the camp's decks. The camp is surprisingly small and intimate, with only 2 luxury tents and 2 family suites. Each tent offers en-suite facilities with an indoor shower as well as an outdoor shower, with the family suites offering a bathtub as well. The tents also have private plunge pools and air conditioning, a luxury rarely found in the African bush. Each room has solar-powered charging facilities to help the camp minimize it's environmental impact. Children have a special place in camp, with the 'Ngwana Club' offering a wide range of activities for even the youngest of safari-goers. The activities are tailor-made to suit each age, though scheduled activities such as canoe trips and walking safaris are limited to children over the age of sixteen.
