Old Drift Lodge
Situated on the shores of the mighty Zambezi River, Old Drift Lodge lies just upstream of the Victoria Falls within the Zambezi National Park. The lodge is surrounded by an abundance of wildlife that can be viewed on game drives, by river, walking, or even from the comfort of an armchair.
The lodge sits at a point on the Zambezi where there were safe times to cross without a boat. An area of rich history, the Old Drift was used as a crossing point over the Zambezi between modern day Zimbabwe and Zambia; hence where the lodge got its name. The main lodge offers 360 degree views, the Zambezi River to one side and a waterhole to the other for prime game viewing. The lodge offers 14 luxury tented suited, complete with an en-suite bathroom with both indoor and outdoor showers. An outdoor bath allows you to relax and enjoy the peace of the national park, or enjoy the private plunge pool on a warm Zimbabwean day. The main area of the lodge provides amazing star-gazing opportunities as well as Zambezi river views.

holiday to Old Drift Lodge
Old Drift Lodge is an amazing lodge in the Zambezi National Park. We loved the boat rides on the Zambezi and the ability to see Victoria Falls. We also loved that it was in a national park, so you see lots of game during drives and walks through the camp. This is a MUST-stay spot if going to Victor…
