Discover 4 Rivers Camp

4 Rivers Camp, a part of the excellent Kwando portfolio, holds a prime location in the well-known private Kwara Reserve within the Okavango Delta region of Botswana. The area is a wild and isolated wilderness, a confluence of waterways, open plains, forested islands, and Mopane woodlands. The camp’s 9 large Meru tents are tucked away in ancient woodland and overlook a permanent small lagoon to Maboa Island. With no other safari camps having access to the area, expect intimate wildlife encounters on game drives, night drives, guided walks and seasonal mekoros trips.

The camp sits on raised wooden decks and is an ecologically sensitive, solar-run camp. All 9 tents, including the family tent, have indoor and outdoor showers. The main camp area features a bar, dining room, curio shop and a selection of smaller lounge areas that allow you to enjoy the peace of the Delta. Maboa Island, beside the camp, has sedimented over centuries to stand above the winding waters of the Okavango Delta and harbors plenty of game, most notably it’s a stronghold for sable and roan antelope.
