Belmond Savute Elephant Camp
Set amidst the beautiful wilderness of the Chobe National Park, Belmond Savute Elephant Lodge is the perfect gateway to some of Botswana's most captivating scenery and wildlife. Guests can expect a tented camp with the twelve spacious tents raised off of the ground on solid wooden platforms.
The platforms double as private viewing decks and are furnished with a hammock and chairs. Relax, overlooking your own personal slice of wilderness, taking-in wildlife passing by or enjoying a private meal together against an unparalleled backdrop. Room interiors are very comfortable and boast a fully stocked mini-bar, air conditioning for clammy days, a lovely bathroom and an elegant four-poster bed, which is draped with a mosquito net to deter unwanted guests.
The lodge offers a number of luxury facilities to ensure a pleasant stay. To stay in touch with the outside world guests will find satellite TV and internet access available, while there's also the chance to become immersed in your surroundings by enjoying local performances in the lodge Boma and watching wildlife from a distance with a high powered telescope. Guests can also unwind in the 20 metre swimming pool and buy some local wares from the Curio Shop.
