A family adventure with a difference. Embark on an exciting road trip through Namibia’s north, including stops in Damaraland and Etosha and then fly to Cape Town to see the city’s famous sights. After a night in Windhoek the family will have 3 more stops on this epic journey. It’s a trip where desert, mountain and bushveld ecosystems combine and provide for fabulous photo opportunities.
You will stay in a unique rock lodge, The Erongo Wild, in the Erongo Mountains, and at Damaraland Camp, where you will see giraffe, ostrich, unique desert elephant, springbok and rare and critically endangered black rhino. At Ongava Lodge, in a reserve bordering Etosha National Park, the family will experience a memorable Big 5 on safari. As well as this, there’s the chance to see ancient Bushmen rock paintings as well as a Petrified Forest, millions of years old. After your Namibian adventure you will fly to Cape Town for a contrasting experience, a stay at the luxurious Twelve Apostles Hotel with its incredible sea views. Cape Town is a very outdoorsy, family-friendly city with a host of activities to suit everyone. See the famous sights such as Table Mountain and V&A Waterfront, go for family hikes or simply kick back on the city’s famous beaches.
