Located in the private Selenkay Conservation Area, bordering Kenya's Amboseli National Park, Amboseli Porini Camp promises an excellent wildlife experience with a huge diversity of game, ranging from cheetah and giraffe to lion and elephant.
The camp rests under the shade of Acacia Tortilis trees and is very small and intimate with only 10 tents, including a family tent. The tents are spacious and are nicely furnished and feature a flush toilet and safari shower. As there are no permanent structures in camp you will take your meals al fresco, enjoying the delicious cuisine under an Acacia tree or under the African night's stars while sitting around the campfire and reliving the adventures of the day. Lighting in camp and tents is provided by solar power and aside from the head chef and camp manager all staff are from the local Maasai community.

Honeymoon to Porini Amboseli Camp
That was great to start with this camp because we didn't get to compare it with Mahali Mazuri.
The camp was kind of far from the Amboseli park but the reserve was still great thanks to the water well right next to the camp. Our guides were really nice and we had a really good time there.
