Deep within the Namib Desert, Wolwedans Dune Camp is a rustic and intimate camp set against a backdrop of extraordinary natural beauty, perched on the edge of a 250m-high sand dune. Located in the heart of the 200,000ha, privately owned, non-profit NamibRand Nature Reserve (south of Sesriem/Sossusvlei), the camp provides the perfect base from which to explore vast stretches of awe-inspiring and undisturbed nature.

A classic camp that perfectly captures the romance of a bygone era, Dune Camp sleeps a maximum of 16 guests in 8 spacious tents, each elevated on a wooden platform and featuring an ensuite bathroom. Canvas roll-up windows allow cool air to flow through the room while the spacious front deck provides for a 'star' bed to be set up at night, allowing you the once-in-a-lifetime experience of sleeping in a desert under some of the clearest and star-filled skies on the planet. For families seeking a more private and luxurious experience, Dune Camp Private is an extended suite sleeping 4 adults and 2 children (all ages), offering you your own private chef and guide, as well as a sleep out deck.
