Holiday to Tanzania
Kevin Peach, 1st September 2022There are not enough adjectives to properly describe our trip! We will just say it was amazing and it turned out, unexpectedly, to be our "Trip of a Lifetime"!

Asilia Oliver's Camp
“One of the most amazing places we've ever stayed! The staff was AMAZING! Our personal butler (who knew) made special drinks for us (we don't drink), he made us the most delicious ginger tea and masala tea from scratch and was just a very kind, sweet funny person! The manager's (Daniel) laugh was infectious was we really wanted to take them both home with us! The place is BEAUTIFUL and we especially enjoyed the breakfast overlooking Tarangire!”
Kitela Lodge
“It was a beautiful place and the people were nice. The bed was HARD and the coffee bad! Lol 2 very important things to us BUT it is a beautiful place and I wouldn't discourage anyone from staying there.”

“My husband and I have stayed at some pretty spectacular places (to us anyway) but this was BY FAR our favorite!!! The mobile camp was everything our romanticizing minds thought it would be! This may not be for everyone but I think everyone should experience it! The campfires were great! The location and game drives were over the top and the food was really good. Bernard, Said and the other staff were great! Our photography vehicle guide was BRILLIANT! Lenga worked his magic and I came home with stunning photographs!! Our breakfast on the Serengeti--on a rock overlooking the herds gathering from the Great Migration--was our favorite vacation moment EVER! Olakira's was beyond comfort and was a quintessential safari experience!”
Upendo House
“Upendo was a lovely boutique hotel with a very nice restaurant, a lovely pool and unique atmosphere. The location was great and I would recommend this hotel. We would maybe think twice about staying again ONLY because it was a steep 3 stories of steps up to our room. That said, I WOULD recommend if you don't mind the stairs.”
Bluebay Beach Resort & Spa
“Bluebay was a beautiful resort, the food was pretty good. I would definitely recommend but it was pretty much the same as every other all-inclusive. Had an amazing massage!!”
Hotel Riu Palace Zanzibar
“We're not big on places that are HUGE with VASTS amounts of people, or places that are so large and spread out that you have a hike or need to wait for a golf cart BUT this place was SO beautiful and SO over the top that we gladly put up with those two things. Normally all-inclusive buffets are mediocre but this buffet was astounding! Wonderful! The scuba shop was exceptional! Our only complaint was how bad the steaks at the steakhouse were! We missed a night at that wonderful buffet and had a pretty crumby meal. Would NOT recommend their steakhouse. HIGHLY recommend this hotel!”

“We were not too excited about the other staff we dealt with (they tried very hard to be helpful) but then we got Claire and she REALLY knew her stuff and led us into and planned the best trip we've ever taken (and we've taken some great trips)! There were a couple of bumps but that was probably us; we were pretty difficult! She had to do some extra work to take care of some issues that came up while we were there but she took the burden off us and just took care of it. They took care of us throughout the trip and made sure we were safe and taken care of the entire time we were in Tanzania! Our trip was AMAZING!! We take pride in usually planning our own trips but we can safely say it would not have been as spectacular without Claire and Mahlatini!”
