Seba Camp
“Words cannot begin to describe our experience at Seba Camp. Amazing is a start. From our arrival to our departure, our experience was out of this world. The camp is excellent but what really makes a difference, and takes it from 5 to 7 stars, is the people. The entire team was fantastic, going out of their way every day to create surprises and special memories. Every single staff member was excellent, led by Lindsey. Our guide, Pointer, was simply unbelievable - we spent long days on game drives but it never felt long as the views and animal sightings were amazing. We will go back to Seba Camp for sure in the future. A very special place with the world's best people.”

LUX* Le Morne
“Lux* Le Morne is simply beautiful. The beach is breathtaking and the hotel facilities are excellent, exactly what you would expect for a hotel in this location and of this standard. Many of the hotel staff were excellent, truly excellent. Unfortunately, the service levels were inconsistent which at times left us feeling that the hotel was substandard. Whilst overall our experience was very good, a few issues would probably prevent us from returning. At check-in the reception staff repeatedly asked us for a hotel voucher (which we didn't have). This went on for so long that it started to get stressful. On talking to other guests they had exactly the same experience, they also had no vouchers. A special breakfast had been arranged for us but it was not a good experience, we waited a long time for a table, despite us being happy to sit anywhere, and then the service was poor with cold coffee. The bar service was very inconsistent - often we had to sit at the bar in the hope of getting a drink. We went on a swim with dolphins and we felt that the many many boats (more than 20) were harassing the dolphins, chasing them down. It would have been dangerous to get into the water as there were so many boats. Once we moved back towards the hotel and away from other boats, we were able to view the dolphins which was lovely. Our guides were excellent. The hotel should consider selling this service as 'dolphin viewing' as non-swimmers would enjoy it. Also, it would be great if all the hotels could work out an agreement to limit the number of boars per day, not just for the tourists but for the dolphins. Finally, the lighting and paths at the hotel are poor at night. During the rain the paths get wet, and you need to walk off paths often to get to the restaurant or your room. I slipped one night and a guest next to us actually fell a few times. I know lighting is difficult with a desire to keep the hotel ambiance - but maybe a small torch in the room would be useful for guests?
We did have many memorable experiences such as a spa treatment, great food and service (particularly at the Beach restaurant), and great service on the beach during the day. In summary, the experience was good but with some fine-tuning it could be excellent.”
