“Great hotel with a good location. It was under construction when we were there but it wasn't an issue. The front desk/concierge was very helpful in recommending and scheduling a tour for us when our previous plans were ruined by rain.”

“An incredible safari experience from start to finish. We felt so welcome and comfortable the entire time. The game drives were always filled with interesting sightings and lessons from our guide and tracker. The lodge itself was very nice, including our room and all the common areas. I loved the concept of sharing meals with the whole lodge at the end of each day to swap stories. This is a place I will recommend to anyone and everyone who asks.”

“Did not love this place from the start. The transfer in (and also flying into Maputo) was really not a good start to this part of our trip. We strongly considered leaving the first night but ended up sticking it out. Overall, once we got over the uneasiness from the location and surrounding area, the place was okay, but still wasn't for us.
The concept of the butler was an interesting idea and in theory, was a great luxury, but really wasn't done very well. Whenever we wanted something (a drink, a meal, a snack) we would have to track down our butler, who could be anywhere in the whole resort, rather than just having a waiter or server available in the relevant areas. We found it more of a nuisance than a luxury to be honest.”
