Ngala Safari Lodge
“Great lodge, great service and very friendly and attentive staff. Game driving distances were longer, but with patience, we saw everything and had some incredible viewings… wild dogs and their pups, white lions and cubs, leopards, etc. The food and drinks were excellent.”
Tengile River Lodge
“By far the best place we have visited in South Africa. Exceptional service and staff and wonderful environment and lodge. The rooms and accommodation were fabulous. Game driving in the Sabi Sands was amazing as there were so many animals crammed into such a small space. Wild dogs chasing impala, tracked by hyenas and viewed by leopards in a tree that were then chased away by another leopard… and that was all in one evening drive! The food and drinks were excellent.”
Phinda Mountain Lodge
“Phinda was very nice but the staff was not quite as attentive to detail as in other lodges we have visited. Children’s menus weren't automatically offered and in fact, if you didn’t order a kid's meal well in advance you couldn’t have one. The waiters and table staff were quite slow and lethargic and generally, I would say the service was ok but not great. It didn’t help that all the other places we went to were fantastic. Our game driver and trackers were exceptional and still made it an amazing place to visit so thank you to Jan and Malussi.”
