Emily Marut, 2nd November 2023Many thanks to Caroline and the Mahlatini team, our honeymoon was the trip of a lifetime! The hotels, experiences and hospitality exceeded our expectations! Never having left the United States before, I was nervous traveling so far from home but everything was organized for us from the moment we landed to the moment we departed. We had to take several flights throughout our trip but we were always met by someone in the airport to help us navigate through customs and transfer us to our next destination. We stayed in Cape Town, Krueger & Vilanculos. Every hotel we stayed at was luxurious and always made us feel like we were family. We were treated like royalty the whole duration of our stay and I wouldn’t change any part of it! Africa is one of the most beautiful destination and I can’t wait to explore more areas soon! Thank you Mahlatini for planning the honeymoon of our dreams!

“Amazing boutique hotel! The staff was very helpful and friendly. The food at their restaurant is amazing and a must-try! Every night we came back after a long day out and enjoyed amazing cocktails by the indoor fireplace. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Conveniently located just steps from the V&A Waterfront.”
Shumbalala Game Lodge
“This was the first time we had been at a safari game lodge and our exceptions were blown away! The staff was very welcoming and made us feel at home. Peter our Tracker and Emilio our Tour Guide did a fabulous job of making sure we got to see all of the Big 5 during our stay!! We would go off-roading into the bush to get as close as possible to the animals. They also were extremely knowledgeable about the animals and answered all our questions, I almost feel like I’m leaving the safari as an expert. Our room was comfortable and cozy, we had a private pool off our deck and would see the animals cross through during the afternoon! We also had the most amazing server Irene!! She did an amazing job to make sure we were taken care of and set up dinner for us every night in a different location. We can’t wait to come back!”

“The Santorini staff provided the best hospitality that we have ever received! Our host Simon was the best!!! He made us feel at home from the moment we got there. My favorite part of the trip was the messages in our butter and he made sure we ate dinner and lunch in a different location every day!! The hotel felt like we were at a spa our whole stay, it had relaxing music and a calming atmosphere. The ladies at the spa gave such great massages that we went back twice! We snorkeled a 2 mile reef and got to see the dugong! Every staff member always greeted us with a warm smile. It was hard saying goodbye when we checked out!”
