Oliver Watkins, 30th October 2023Our time in Africa was magical. We had the most amazing time away and wish we could do it all again. We were struck by just how friendly and attentive our hosts were and how welcome we were made to feel. We will absolutely be returning.

“From the moment we met Linah, our guide, at the airstrip we were made to feel so welcome. She was so knowledgeable and patient with us and that made our time on safari so special. The camp was beautiful and so peaceful and all of the staff were so friendly. The food was delicious and the variety on offer was incredible given we were in the middle of the bush. Our highlight was the different soups we had for lunch and dinner every day. Rebecca and Andree were great camp hosts as well. Our tent was very comfortable and had the most amazing view over the gully behind it where there was a constant flow of animals. We were so sad to leave and hopefully one day will be able to return.”

“We were slightly unfortunate with the weather as we went at a time when the short rains were just beginning but despite that, we had some sun and there was plenty to do a the hotel. The rooms were very comfortable and peaceful. The variety of food was amazing and there are three different restaurants so lots to choose from and it's nice to be able to mix it up in the evenings. Down on the beach there was so much to do, whether that be relaxing, water sports, or beach games. We had a great time and would definitely return (but perhaps in the dry season to avoid the rain).”

“Claire and the team from Mahlatini were extremely professional throughout the process. Their knowledge, expertise and advice when we initially booked our trip were so helpful and we felt that we were in the best hands and that our trip had been planned carefully and with consideration to what we wanted to get out of it. The camp that they recommended (Lemala Nanyukie) was amazing and we had the best time. We decided to stay in one camp for five days rather than move around which we were very glad we did as it was such a nice place to spend time, relax and see plenty of game! We also stayed at Zuri on Zanzibar which was beautiful and highly recommendable. The itinerary was well planned and detailed and everything went smoothly. Any small issues we did have were dealt with easily and we are very grateful to Claire and the team for making our honeymoon so amazing. Thank you.”
