Luis Arriaza, 13th March 2024This was my second safari. The game drives were not the best because of the drought but I would rate the trip 4.8/5.

OR Tambo City Lodge
“The purpose of this hotel is just to spend the night close to the airport. It would be 4.5/5 if the pillow sheets didn't smell dirty.”
The Wallow Lodge
“Service: 3/5; Included Activities 4/5; Paid Activities 5/5; Food and service at the restaurant was 4/5
They didn't really care about our luggage situation. I had to remind them that we had left clothes in the basket for laundry. No ice in the room. The fridge did not work. The safe did not work and was never fixed.”
Little Machaba
“Service: 7/5; Included activities: 4.5/5; Food: 4/5
SUPERLATIVE service. In EVERY way. A couple of examples: they had a shirt for us ready as a gift upon our arrival as they knew we had few clothes. They helped us get clothes from Maun (very far away) as we did not have our luggage. These are just some of the ways they went far and beyond. I wish every safari lodge had staff like the staff at Little Machaba.”
Machaba Kiri Camp
“Service: 4.5/5; Included activities: 3.5/5
The game drives were not very good because of the drought. There were also no Mokoros and no boat safaris because of the drought. The only reason service was not 5/5 is because Little Machaba placed the bar way way high. I would not recommend this camp if the drought continues.”

The 'Meet and Greet' staff at Tambo Airport where also informed of our luggage situation and were VERY helpful. It is always nice to know that our travel expert is in touch and helping us.”
