“We stayed in Sands Resort Spa for the whole week, very relaxing. Therefor this is the only impression we have of the island of Mauritius. The people we met were great and the weather was mixed with brilliant sunshine one minute and warm torrential rain the next, we enjoyed the experience.”

Vineyard Hotel & Spa
“Beautiful hotel very friendly. Good accommodation very comfortable. We went on a 4hr private tour and the staff at the hotel advised us to go to Table Mountain first having purchased tickets at the hotel. The problem we had was that we still had to wait 1-2 hours in the blistering heat to get to the cable car. When we came down there was no queue in hind sight it would have been better to go later. The taxi driver said we had been misinformed. We enjoyed the visit to penguin beach and the V&A waterfront.”
Kambaku River Sands
“Truly wonderful place. Accommodation spacious and well equipped with air con. Very obliging staff nothing too much for them. Our ranger J J and tracker Renais were very informative and went out of their way to make sure we saw all that was possible. The highlight was seeing a 2/3 hour old elephant tottering about. The only negative was limited choice of evening meal but we agree it is difficult to please everyone. Overall it was a very memorable experience for which we thank you.”

“Another lovely place very easy and relaxing which is what we needed after early starts in Kambaku. Wonderful accommodation spacious and comfortable with ceiling fan and air con. Our room was on the ground floor near the bar and pool very convenient. The staff were very pleasant and professional and learned our names very quickly. The only negative here was when we arrived the pickup driver was not at the air port. We looked all around helped by the air port security and when he arrived after we had rung the hotel he said he had been in the area all the time. A simple sorry would have sufficed. The hotel staff were very apologetic. Other than that we had a wonderful time.”
