“We would give this a six our of five if we could. It was my family's first safari, and we had the perfect experience. Our ranger was Ivan and our tracker was Ernie. They quickly figured out what would interest us, and took us on some excellent game drives. We saw all kinds of wildlife and, as we could go at our own pace in our vehicle, we spent as much time with each group of animals as we liked. Besides the wildlife, highlights of Kwandwe were sundowners, breakfast in the bush, a walking safari and a South African braai. Ecca Lodge was perfectly comfortable for our family to stay.”

“Laird's Lodge is well located between Plettenberg Bay and Knysna, and we were able to use it as a base for exploring the area. Each meal at Laird's was excellent, and they gave us nice tips on things to do, like the Saturday market we would otherwise not have come across.”

“Basic accommodation, well located for the area, but impersonal because of its size. The staff booked the wrong restaurant at Delaire for us, and the concierge couldn't correct it. We had to change it ourselves.”
