Wallawwa features 18 contemporary-styled rooms including 2 family suites and a luxurious 2-bedroom suite with a pool. All rooms have a garden terrace, allowing you to sit and enjoy the sound of birds around you. The hotel’s Verandah Restaurant focuses on international and Asian dishes and uses the hotel’s garden to pluck homegrown fruits, vegetables, and spices. The serene spa is the perfect spot to indulge in treatment after a long flight or busy day sightseeing. Head to the pool, which feels more like a rainforest than a garden. Whilst the hotel is a sublime place to rest and recuperate, there is also plenty to do in Negombo, including exploring the town’s Catholic churches, the Dutch fort, and the vast mangrove-fringed lagoon and network of old Dutch canals by boat or kayak. Wallawwa is also 30 minutes from Colombo.
