Discover The Kandy House

A unique ancestral manor house, The Kandy House is set in a lush, tropical garden setting close to Kandy. Originally built with Moorish and Dutch styles, it has been converted into a designer boutique hotel retaining the charisma of the historical home. It is perfectly situated to explore the many historical attractions such as the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic and the Botanical Peradeniya Gardens.

The hotel sits in a 6-acre garden and on the edge of the jungle. The 9 individually decorated rooms are aptly named after butterflies which are endemic to Sri Lanka. There are 5 Deluxe Rooms and 4, more spacious Ultra Rooms, each styled with local fabrics and elegant furniture. International and Sri Lankan meals are served on the restaurant terrace overlooking the croquet lawn, on your private terrace or by the pool. Early risers may even take their breakfast poolside alongside buffalos in the fields. The infinity pool offers the perfect respite, surrounded by palms and jungle foliage. There is also a paddy-view ambalama for Ayurvedic massages and yoga.
