Discover Asilia Ubuntu Migration Camp

Setting up camp nearby the movements of the wildebeest migration in the Serengeti, Ubuntu Migration Camp is a mobile camp ensuring you are always close to the action. It’s a traditional tented camp that leaves no trace as it is disassembled every few months to move with the herds to new pastures, whether it is to catch the dramatic river crossings in the northern Serengeti or the wildebeest giving birth on the fertile grasslands of the southern plains. Every day you will be out in the bush looking for the wildlife such as lions or cheetahs attracted by the huge gatherings of prey.

There are 10 canvas safari tents including 1 family tent. All have mesh side panels to let the light in during the day. There are king-size or twin beds in each with ensuite bathrooms featuring hot-water bucket showers and flushing toilets. Your afternoons will be spent relaxing on the porch outside your tent, watching the nearby herds, or immersed in a book. Breakfast and lunch at the camp are served under canvas but dinner is enjoyed under the stars, followed by a nightcap around the campfire.
