Located in the heart of the Serengeti plains in northern Tanzania, Nimali Serengeti is a luxury tented camp, which is hidden away, offering a sense of seclusion in this part of the National Park, which can get busy. It is a charming and intimate tented camp with only 8 rooms and has been designed for a truly authentic safari experience. Enjoy breathtaking views over the hills and plains and the camp is perfectly situated in the path of the renowned migratory route of the millions of wildebeest and zebra on their annual migration. Even when the famous migration is not passing through, the Makoma Hill area, in which is camp is located, is well known for its vast herds of buffalo and elephants, giraffe and many predators including cheetahs, lions and hyenas.
Nimali Camp is spread out across the base of a hill with acacia trees providing a stunning backdrop. The lounge and dining tents are wide open to make the very most of the breathtaking views of the Serengeti plains. With lanterns hanging from the branches of the large acacia trees in the camp, there's a magical ambiance to the camp as the sun starts to set. Sip sundowner cocktails around the open fire and share stories of the day's wildlife sightings with other guests. Follow this with a fire-lit meal under the stars and have the unforgettable experience of sleeping under canvas in the middle of this vast wilderness.

vacation to Nimali Serengeti
Brilliant food (great chef, it was better than Nimali Tarangire). Great waiter - Peter. Accommodation was very comfortable and the pool area was fab. Again, a great guide - Maliki. However, in comparison to Tarangire the Manager was largely absent and there didn’t seem to be a homely/friendly team …
