Muchenje Safari Lodge, bordering the Chobe National Park, is set on an escarpment edge and has been designed to take full advantage of the incredible views over the Chobe River and the seasonal flood plains, offering a unique wilderness experience and uninhibited game viewing.
Muchenje offers 11 thatched private cottages, each having its own unique view of the Chobe from a private, shaded veranda. The thatched main lodge includes a dining area, lounge bar, reception, shop, and game viewing platform overlooking the waterhole. The lodge's swimming pool, built amongst natural rock formations, provides a tranquil setting for you to relax during the heat of the day.

Could not be more perfect. An amazing location, excellent lodge staff, superb food, amazing guides. Truly felt like family while there due to the staff, other guests, and the experience. Would require friends/family to stay here if in the area.

This place was like staying with family. Great location, and superbly planned safaris with highly knowledgeable staff. They also organised a special birthday dinner for me with a chef making me a birthday cake. A truly lovely and much appreciated gesture.
