Using safari camps that are specifically designed for families, and flying you between locations, to avoid long journeys by road, this adventure safari will ensure maximum fun for the whole family. You will begin at the iconic Victoria Falls, staying a Thorntree River Lodge, offering a family room and kids' club. It's a tranquil base from which to explore the Falls and included in your stay are river cruises, cultural visits, fishing expeditions, canoeing, rhino tracking and game drives.
Further the adventure by flying in a light aircraft to Hwange National Park. Be on the look-out for a bird's eye view of the park's large elephant and buffalo herds. At Somalisa Acacia Camp, it's not uncommon to meet some of these elephants at the camp's pool! Here you will stay in a 2-bedroom family tent and aside from the game drives, the children can also attend Ngwana Club, offering nature walks around the camp, arts and crafts, cooking lessons and other specialist child activities. The same tailor-made, children's activities are offered at the sister camp Nyamatuis Mahogany Camp at Mana Pools on the banks of the Zambezi river. After a family game drive, Mum and Dad can relax by the pool or head off on an age-restricted canoe or walking safari (over 16 only), while the kids are happily entertained.
