Ellerman House is an elegant Cape Edwardian mansion, once the stately home of Sir John and Lady Ellerman, distinguished shipping magnates and investors. It sits perched on the slopes of Lion's Head in the prestigious Bantry Bay residential area. Directly facing the Atlantic Ocean and Robben Island, the property has one of the most spectacular views in South Africa and is in close proximity to all popular tourist attractions.
Now privately owned, Ellerman House stands as an iconic showcase of South Africa's finest lodging, cuisine, wine, and leisure. With shaded verandas, tiered gardens and beautiful interiors. Ellerman House has eleven rooms and two suites, with no two rooms alike. The property boasts two lounges, a library, two dining rooms, a spa, a main pool, gym, whisky bar, and expansive outdoor space. The property is not open to the public, offering a genuine level of privacy and luxury to guests.

Honeymoon to Ellerman House
This place is incredible. I am at a loss for words on how to describe it. I true 5 star experience in the most unique and beautiful way. We only wish we had an extra day here since the weather wasn't great for 2 days. In retrospect, we would've shaved a day off of the safari and spent it here.
Beautiful setting with insane views and wonderful staff. We were lucky enough to attend an event with Zolani which was a highlight of our visit to Capetown.
