The comfortable mobile tents of Chobe under Canvas offer you the chance to get as close as possible to Chobe's vast wildlife herds by relocating every five or six days to carefully selected positions. Home to a variety of big game, Chobe is particularly well known for its large herds of elephant and buffalo, as well as the two antelope that cannot be encountered anywhere else in Botswana, the puku, and Chobe bushbuck.
Five well-appointed walk-in tents, accommodating a maximum of ten guests are furnished with comfortable beds, a hanging rail, a canvas wardrobe, and a luggage chest. The en-suite bathroom is complete with a flush toilet and bucket shower. A marquee-style tent forms the main area where delicious meals are enjoyed as a group around a long, lantern-lit table. There is also a small 'bar' table holding a selection of drinks, a small reference library, and a selection of board games.

One can't believe that staying in tents completely off the grid can be such a luxury. King beds, proper toilets and fantastic food. Hands down, the greeting when arriving gives one such a warm feeling. Our ranger did a fantastic job to make sure we saw the wilderness of Chobe.
A fantastic experience, but certainly not for everyone. The accommodation is brilliant but a little rough and ready.
