Meaning "Great Plains", Mara Nyika is situated on the western side of the private and exclusive Naboisho Conservancy bordering the Maasai Mara, a prime location handpicked by Great Plains conservationists and National Geographic photographers Dereck and Beverly Joubert.
Enjoy a morning game drive to witness the intense predator action of the incredible Maasai Mara ecosystem or a sunset game drive that may last into the night in search of lesser-known nocturnal mammals, a rarity permitted only in the private concession. You may even experience a full day safari on the camp's highly customised vehicles which are fully equipped with fridges stocked with food and drinks, primed for those longer days when the wildlife viewing proves too hard to leave.
