At Mahlatini we live and breathe Africa. We love everything about this extraordinary continent and understand that we have a responsibility to protect and respect her; her nature, her wildlife, her people, her traditions. We are proud to work with select suppliers and safari lodges that share the same ethos as Mahlatini. We partner primarily with conservation companies focused on protecting local habitat and wildlife and those directly empowering their local communities through employment, economic support and funding of schools and medical centers.
We may be small, but we’re determined to be a force for change, supporting the following important charities and community projects, protecting wildlife and helping local school children.
“We are thrilled to be working in collaboration with Mahlatini to raise vital funds and awareness for global rhino conservation efforts. Since 2013, Mahlatini has helped us raise more than $20,000 through donating auction prizes, purchasing merchandise, and clients' Survive memberships. Their support is vital in helping us achieve our ambitious vision of seeing all five rhino species thriving in the wild.”
"We are extremely grateful for the love and support from Mahlatini, and for their generous investment in community projects that truly improve people’s lives. Through the support of Moya we Khaya "Spirit Of Home" Urban Micro Farm, Mahlatini is investing in our nation's food security, while Zama Dance School provides children with life-changing skills, confidence and a vision for their future."
"Pack for a Purpose is delighted to be a long-established partner with Mahlatini. Our partnership allows us to grow the number of Pack for a Purpose travelers who make a positive impact in the African communities they visit. We are delighted to provide Mahlatini's clients with the information they need to make their life's great journeys even more meaningful."
