Discover Luwawa Forest Lodge

Luwawa Forest Lodge is located on the heavily forested Viphya Plateau in Northern Malawi, a fresh and malaria-free climate 1,560m above sea level. The Lodge specialises in outdoor adventure tourism with a variety of activities on offer including hiking, mountain biking, bird watching, fishing, and much more.

The Lodge is set within glorious gardens, and you can opt to stay in the family chalets or two-storey cottages. The indigenous woodland surrounding Luwawa Forest Lodge also offers a campsite. From the lodge, you will enjoy delicious home-cooked meals accompanied by vegetables from the lodge’s own permaculture garden.

The forest surrounding the lodge provides a wide variety of bird habitats for species such as slaty fly-catcher, Bertram's weaver, and the miombo rock thrush. The forest also provides a home for bushbuck, blue monkeys, leopards, hyenas, jackals, and porcupines.
