Situated in the Onguma Game Reserve, Onguma Tented Camp is built around a waterhole and boasts luxury accommodation and so much to offer nearby. The 34,000ha reserve is adjacent to the Etosha Game Reserve and offers fantastic game viewing. The reserve covers a wide range of terrain including Etosha's signature dry pans as well as bushveld and savannah.
The camp is relatively small with only 7 tents available - all of which can sleep two people. Nicely laid out, the tents are positioned in a U-shape for added privacy from other guests and to allow each tent great views over the waterhole. Tents feature comfy beds, earthy interiors of creams and stone and outside showers.
The main guest area of camp offers a rim flow swimming pool to indulge in after a game drive in the burning Namibian heat while the bar, lounge and dining room are equally as relaxing. Guests can feel truly immersed in the wilderness without leaving the comfort of the camp, thanks to the active waterhole. For the more intrepid exciting day and night game drives and unique interpretative bushwalks into the wilderness are waiting to be enjoyed. There's also the chance to embark on a Rhino Research Drive and game drives in Etosha National Park itself.
