Discover Klein Aus Vista - Eagle's Nest

Situated in the Klein Aus Vista Nature Reserve, Eagle's Nest is 2km west of the small town of Aus and about 120km from Luderitz in southern Namibia. The Eagle's Nest Chalets are built into rounded granite boulders with the Aus mountains as a backdrop. Eagle's Nest is a 7km drive from the main reception and restaurant complex of the Desert Horse Inn and the chalets themselves are private self-catering retreats, each built individually.

Some chalets are built partially from gigantic granite boulders and others into the actual rock walls. Each chalet has stone floors, en-suite facilities, a lounge, a fully equipped kitchenette, fireplace and a private verandah, overlooking the endless Namib Desert. You can either choose to enjoy the solitude of The Nest's idyllic setting by self-catering or ordering in a barbeque pack or breakfast platter or choose to enjoy the food and vibrant atmosphere of the bar at the Desert Horse Inn.
