Kichwa Tembo Tented Camp
“My first time on a safari did not disappoint. Glamping at its finest! Leaving the sides of the tent open allowed perfect views of magnificent sunsets and sunrises. Our guide, one of the very few females guides, was outstanding! The food was excellent, and Dennis the waiter who served us for the duration of our stay, surprised me with a birthday cake which was very touching.”

“Lovely hotel, great food. The only slight negative is that we were not advised that we would have the day room only until 6:00 p.m. Our flight left Nairobi at midnight, so we made arrangements with the driver to pick us up at 9:00 p.m. Staff called us at 7:30 p.m. to ask when we were checking out. Absent that one hiccup, it was a pleasant stay.”

“I wish I could give Sive more than 5 stars! Sive and I started planning my trip in January 2018 for October 2019. We had many emails and (long distance) telephone calls. I told her what I was looking for and she arranged the trip of a lifetime! My every query was answered in a timely manner. She was patient with me when I asked her the same question more than once and also when I misplaced the finalized itinerary she sent me. I live in Canada, and Sive accommodated me and the time difference between us without complaint when we had talk by telephone. The choice of Kichwa Tembo was genius. The transportation arrangements to and from the airport and between hotels was seamless. Thank you so very much Sive!
After Sive left Mahlatini, I dealt with Claire Picknell and Claire Jackson stepped in and took over. They answered my (sometimes frenzied) emails which calmed me down. Thank you Claire and Claire!”
