“My favourite place. Such a treat - incredible guide (so enthusiastic, knowledgeable and perfect for adults and kids). We went on a walking safari and tracked some rhino, went on awe inspiring game drives - saw leopards and cheetahs close too and in daylight which was our highlight as first time we'd seen leopard properly.
Delicious food, beautiful interiors, great pool. Good babysitting service.
Guide had some child friendly activities up his sleeve - he took kids fishing and put out a wildlife camera and put a giraffe skeleton together.”

The Oyster Box Hotel

“The children loved the Oyster Box! We were disappointed there was no kids club and they tried to charge us 360 R per hour for babysitting (180R for 2 children) we told them as we left we thought this was too much (because they didn't tell us this was the rate) and they refunded us 50% and apologised. Hotel not quite it's normal self with corona and didn't realise we needed to book a dinner reservation on first nights and restaurant was full and we didn't know there was no kids club in advance so that was annoying too. It was great but overpriced we thought in the scheme of the holiday.”

Cathedral Peak Hotel

“Old school hotel so accommodation and food not as good as elsewhere but amazing hiking and riding. Again no babysitting (at all - dinky place with zero babysitting on offer) so that was a shame, restricted Charlie and I a bit.
Incredible horse riding and stunning place with lots of fun activities for kids.”
