Family holiday to Kenya & Mauritius

Our trip really was the holiday of a lifetime. My husband, myself and two daughters spent four nights at the Ol Seki camp in Kenya followed by two nights at Hemingways in Nairobi and finished off with a week at the Shanti Maurice in Mauritius. Our Safari was by far the highlight, our daily game drives with our guide Mike were magical, Mike was so knowledgeable that we learnt so much, we were up close and personal with some amazing wildlife, the lion pride and elephant herds being my favourite. We also spent a day driving to the Tanzania border where we experienced the great migration which was incredible. Ol Seki was wonderful, we had dinner in the Bush, in a cave and overlooking a watering hole in the private conservancy. We were even visited by a couple of giraffes in the middle of the night, they were eating just outside our tent. I felt incredibly emotional leaving Melinda and the rest of the team, it felt like we were staying with family in such a beautiful environment. Claire at Mahlatini did an amazing job arranging this trip, all arrangements went without hitch and her incredible knowledge meant we chose the perfect locations and hotels for our family.
