Kichwa Tembo Tented Camp
“Absolutely perfect in every way. There is nothing negative that we could say, nor even anything that could be improved upon. As soon as we arrived and the staff welcomed us with their singing, we knew we had arrived somewhere very special indeed. We had to keep pinching ourselves when we arrived in our beautiful tent. We were the furthest away from the main camp but this made it feel all the more secluded and we were lucky to see a very rare bird (Ross's Turaco) as well as elephants, monkeys, hyrax, etc. Lying in bed at night and listening to the sounds of the bush was something we will never forget. All of the staff looked after us and nothing was ever too much trouble. The food was fabulous and the chef came out every night to make sure we were happy with the food. Jon is a vegetarian and never felt like he was left out. In fact, the staff always offered to cook something else if he wasn't satisfied with the offering but this was never the case.
The game drives were outstanding and the guide was so friendly and knowledgeable. The timetables were very flexible and we were always consulted about plans, times, what we wanted to do etc. We saw more than we could have dreamed of!
We left feeling like we'd made new friends and it was actually quite emotional when the time came to say goodbye. We can't wait to go back. What a truly special place.”

Kempinski Seychelles Resort
“A beautiful hotel! We had a lovely room overlooking the lagoon but it felt more like a suite than a normal hotel room. The staff always greeted us with a smile and came over for a chat during breakfast which we always appreciated. Considering it is a large hotel the staff certainly made an effort to remember us and it never felt really busy or noisy. We booked a private dinner on the beach and we were really well looked after and nothing felt rushed. We would definitely stay again.”
Hotel L'Archipel
“We loved the boutique feel of the hotel and it was instantly very relaxing. In our opinion, our room had the best view of them all. We could lie in bed and see the gorgeous bay right in front of us. Out of all the resorts we walked past, I would say L'Archipel is in the best spot of all, right at the end of the most stunning beach which felt like a private beach. We ate in the hotel most nights because the food was so good, as was the service. We really appreciated the free use of all the water sports equipment and I made use of the canoes most days. Wonderful staff, spotlessly clean, and huge room/balcony. We loved it and would definitely go back.”

“Claire has been absolutely amazing from day one! When we first booked in 2019 (for August 2020) we obviously had no idea of what was around the corner. Despite the obvious disappointment at having to postpone - twice - Claire was always on hand to reassure us and this definitely made what could have been a really stressful time, much less stressful. She assured us that we could simply move our holiday to the following year and was always readily available either by telephone or email to answer any questions or concerns we had. It was clear that Claire had personal knowledge and experience of each of the places we stayed at so we always knew we were in for a treat and we weren't disappointed. The pre-holiday check-in meeting with Claire was really appreciated as she dealt with any last-minute queries as well as checking we had everything in place regarding paperwork, vaccinations, money etc. This was so helpful, especially given the current circumstances with covid.
We initially made enquiries with other travel firms but were often made to feel that our budget was nowhere near high enough. Yes, it wasn't 'cheap' with Mahlatini but we received a really personalised service and felt like we had incredible value for money. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Claire and Mahlatini to anyone. When we next think about booking a dream holiday, we will definitely be back in touch - it's been a pleasure to work with Claire.”
