Holiday to Zambia
Julia & Stephen Wall, 3rd October 2022Absolutely fantastic - a trip of a lifetime. Zambia is a country which must be experienced both for its safaris and people.

“A really nice hotel with beautiful peaceful gardens. Our room looked out onto a peaceful inner garden and was a good size. We found the food to be good, particularly for the price paid and enjoyed sitting by the pool near the bar.
We did find that the answer was yes to everything but it took several hours on two occasions before we received what had been asked for.
On check-in, we were told that dinner was not available until 6pm, which we booked. Later we went to the bar to get a drink and found from the person serving us that we could eat as soon as we wanted. Very welcome as we needed an early night. We would return.”
Kaingo Camp
“An amazing family run lodge which we were made to feel part of.
We stayed in the First House with its own private deck overlooking the river. Great for watching elephants crossing the river.
Robert was our guide who found us lots to see and was never in a rush to move on. Don’t miss the Hippo Hide and the Elephant Hide but the stand out was the Carmine Bee-eater Hide. Not to be missed if you visit when they are in residence.
Catherine and her team provided excellent food. It was nice being surprised when she introduced the menu before each meal including breakfast in the Ebony Grove.
We 100% want to return.”
Potato Bush Camp
“Home was a good sized tent with a plunge pool overlooking the Zambezi.
The transfer from Jeki airstrip was mainly by boat which allowed a full appreciation of the size of the river.
Laston was our butler who couldn’t do enough to look after us. Charles was our guide on the land and water.
Nice surprises were being taken by boat for lunch at the side of the river with elephants for company. Also arriving from our evening activity to find dinner was out in the bush. Our last evening was on a boat drifting down the river, as the sun was setting, drinking gin and tonic - magical.
Don’t miss the canoe trip for up close encounters with the wildlife.”
Tongabezi Lodge
“We stayed in one of the River Rooms with great views of the river.
Lizzy was our butler who surprised us every meal with a different place to eat. Most were outside and all overlooking the river. The Sampan dinner was particularly special.
We had a trip to Devil’s Pool at the falls and a day in Zimbabwe to see the falls from that side. Both activities are highly recommended.
We would return again to have some rest and relaxation after long days on safari”

“Claire was brilliant and it is the second time we have used her to book a safari.
We told her where and when we wanted to go for a trip to Zambia, and our budget. Claire joined up all the dots and came within budget. Our trip was seamless from landing at Johannesburg until we flew back to the UK. Meet and Greet provided a fast passage through immigration in each country and all land and air transfers went without a hitch.
Claire also booked our trip to Devils Pool on Livingstone Island and a day trip into Zimbabwe. Our guides on the Zimbabwe trip took all the stress out of the border crossing.
