“Funky big rooms with so many adjoining restaurants to choose to eat at. Staff were fantastic. Parking free and very easy. Location superb on the beach bang in the middle of Camps Bay. The spa was fantastic. Same day availability and soooo cheap for us Europeans!”
Grootbos Garden Lodge
“A pared back but beautifully stylish retreat set back in the hills with jaw-dropping views of Gansbaai and the whales. The lodges were immaculate and had every you could possibly wish for - large lounge, big bathroom, kitchen area and chill-out spots on the balcony. The food here was outstanding and probably the best we have ever eaten on this side of the hemisphere. Fantastic ingredients, an interesting fusion of cuisines using all local fresh produce. And yet all healthy and tasty. The spa was a disappointment. The staff were inexperienced, ran late and let the side down a bit. The ranger and organisation of activities was superb. A busy programme tailored to our family's needs and wishes. Oh and don’t forget the self-filling drinks fridge in the room!”

Love Malhatini for just getting us and want we want out of a holiday without breaking the bank. The extra touches were very gratefully received too - fruit bowl, note in the room, complimentary facial.”
