“It was a fabulous location and very comfortable but a bit conference-like for me. The staff was great, the breakfast was disastrous but tasty. It didn’t matter too much as you’re out and about so much.”
Babylonstoren Farm Hotel
“Lovely lovely place. Tranquil and has great views. Great food, service, and things to do. The wine tasting was excellent. The bathrooms in the cottages looked great but were dysfunctional. The swimming pool & spa were excellent.”
Lekkerwater Beach Lodge at De Hoop
“Loved loved this place. The right ratio of destination, luxury and informality. You could sit here for days. The views were amazing and the food was great. The guides were fabulous. It’s a pain to get to. The Google map directions are great but don’t take into account the roads - 50kms of gravel and then a further 15kms of mud, water, etc which I was worried about in a normal sedan car. It took us double the amount of time to get there! But all worth it!”
