From the moment we landed in Nairobi, to the moment we were dropped at the airport after 14 days of incredible adventure. The professionalism was top-notch. The people we met, the locations we visited, the care we received were unparalleled. Mahlatini booked with partners in Kenya and Tanzania which made our experience dreamy. A visit to the Maasai village was an amazing learning experience. The history and education we received from Patrick was the best way to begin our safari experience.”

“Our Guide Alex made this the most special experience!!!!! That and arriving the day after the migration began was incomparable. Never could we have imagined the number of animals we saw. So many wildebeests, zebras (millions) and others. The location of Sand River, set so privately on the river away from other camps made it unique. We saw the Big 5 on one game drive!!! The other drives were filled with just as many sitings of large cats with their "snacks" (prey) and so many birds, education from Alex and all the staff. Loved the outdoor meals among the elephants, wildebeests, monkeys, baboons, and hyenas at dusk.”

“Hassan, Mosses, Lazurus, and the entire staff (and Rhinos) were in keeping with all we had experienced from Elewana in Kenya. We loved the special HH sunset drinks they brought to the tent in the sky and the extra effort they all made to make sure we had everything we dreamed of. The dining experiences: balcony, bbq, and dinner on the grass were so special!!! The food at all Elewana locations was delicious. I want a cookbook of their soups!!! Did a walking safari with Mosses and a ranger from Tanzania Serengeti. Learned so much about the grasses, plants, trees, and environment, but was rather daunting ... the reality of being so close to hippos and buffalo and escorted by two rifles was humbling and real!!”
Elewana The Manor at Ngorongoro
“What a finale!!!! The crater, and Lake Manyara, were wonderful, but different from our time in the bush. We were not used to so many people!!! The terrain and animals didn't disappoint though. Peter (our guide) and Altius the manager made things so wonderful! Baraka was exceptional, he decorated and surprised us (it was my birthday) with the most beautiful flower-laden table and the entire staff sang and danced. We loved ending at the Manor. It is luxury at its finest. The coffee plantation, garden, pool, stables...unmatched. I LOVED the cadence of the trip and thoughtful planning.”
