Sophie Haet, 16th July 2023The trip was absolutely incredible. Once in a lifetime, magical experience. Having everything planned and coordinated for us was a huge stress relief, especially while we were so swamped with wedding planning. The travel home was horrendous due to African airplane delays, however, the rest of the trip was seamless and amazing.

“The staff was incredible (so friendly and accommodating), extremely accommodating to dietary restrictions, accommodation was gorgeous, the location on the river was stunning, and the game drives were absolutely amazing. The only feedback would be 1) it would be nice to have more options/choices for the lunch served (some days lunch was fantastic and other days not suited to our taste preferences), and 2) it would be nice to have more flexibility with timing/length of game drives as the morning game drives were a bit too early and long for us.”

“The staff was incredible (so friendly and accommodating), extremely accommodating to dietary restrictions, accommodation was gorgeous (the outdoor shower and view from the rooms are unbelievable), the game drive sun-downer was an incredibly magical experience, the pool area is stunning and a great place to unwind in-between game drives, and we loved the opportunities to have a walking safari and night drives as a nice change. The only feedback would be 1) it would be nice to have more options/choices for the lunch served (some days lunch was fantastic and other days not suited to our taste preferences), 2) we didn't love sharing game drives with another couple, and 3) we weren't informed that the walking safari was an extra cost until checkout.”
Breezes Beach Club & Spa
“Lovely beach, with plenty of chairs on the beach (so we never had to worry about not having a lounge chair), good food, amazing spa treatments (some of the best massages ever and quite well priced) and very friendly staff. While the property is nice, we didn't think it should be advertised as a 5-star hotel, as it felt much more like a 3-star property. The bed was very uncomfortable and hair conditioner was not provided in the rooms. Having to pay for water at meals despite having breakfast and dinner included was very frustrating. While the beach is so pretty, very white/fine sand and the water so nice and clear, the extreme tides made it impossible to swim half of the days we were there, and the beach was much windier than expected. Dinner was absolutely delicious (exceeded expectations of an all-inclusive) and breakfast was decent, however, breakfast closed at 9:30 (way too early) and dinner didn't start until 7:30pm (way too late). The hotel made us depart for the airport way too early, despite our protests, and we ended up at the Zanzibar airport way too early. The free champagne and "sun-downers" that came with the "Honeymoon Package" were very, very low quality.”

“Steve was absolutely amazing. He created several itineraries for our trip until we landed on the perfect one. He was a pleasure to work with, had fantastic recommendations and was incredibly knowledgeable. We felt we could really trust him to design the perfect trip for us.
The only "service improvement" I can think of is, it would have been helpful/nice to be able to see a price breakout for each of the itineraries (how much each flight, transfer, hotel, Mahlatani service fee, etc were), as we didn't have visibility to any costing below the total itinerary price per person.”
