Everything was first-rate - accommodations, transportation, meals, staff, and experiences. From start to finish we felt completely at ease. From the time that we arrived in Nairobi until we left Kilimanjaro, we never touched our bags, we were always informed about the next event, and there was never an anxious moment. Wherever we went, greeters were expecting us. All of our in-country flights were on time. Accommodations were outstanding and all of the meals 5-star. But, the most memorable part of our journey was the people that we met who made our dreams come true. Every person, including camp managers, servers, driver/guides, housekeepers, greeters, and even pilots were amazing. Their quiet spirit is infectious. Their appreciation for the wildlife and understanding of the precious ecosystem was evident. Everyone had the most amazing smile and a Jambo, Jambo greeting. We have fallen in love with the African people. We will never forget them or this trip.

“A wonderful introduction to Africa. Check-in was easy, the staff friendly and attentive and the accommodations were lovely. The buffet breakfast, our only meal experience, was superb. There were endless options to accommodate every style of breakfast and international tradition.”
Elewana Loisaba Tented Camp
“Our favorite tent site. Small and intimate with breathtaking views. This was our first "tent camp" experience, therefore we did not fully know what to expect. The accommodations were elegant with magnificent views over the Loisaba Conservancy. Pictures online simply do not do it justice. You have to be there to appreciate the vastness of its beauty. The staff, especially Frederick (Manager) Ali, (Butler) and Peter (Driver/guide) became family to us. There was nothing more that they could have done to make our stay more memorable. Ali even surprised us with a special "bush breakfast" and anniversary cake celebration. Both highlights of our stay.”
Elewana Sand River Maasai Mara
“Once again beautiful accommodations. We had rain here both evenings so the feeling was quite different from Loisaba. The staff, however, made it easy for us to get from our tent to the dining facility, which was beautiful. Jentrol (our butler) was a charming young man. He made certain all of our needs were met and that we were completely satisfied with our stay. Meals here were exceptional in taste and presentation. 5-star dining in the middle of the bush. How is that possible? But it is! Our guides Enoch and Benjamin both made certain that we saw every animal that we came to see. Their knowledge and experience was exceptional.”
Elewana Serengeti Migration Camp
“An amazing campsite set in the middle of a beautiful animal habitat. The most amazing sound is hearing the lions and hippos roar at night. Imagine walking to dinner just behind zebras sharing the same path. After dark, personal escorts took us to and from our tent to the main dining and socializing tent, making us feel safe and secure. Jordan (our butler) is a very personable, attentive young man. He made sure all of our dining needs were met and was able to be flexible with our schedule to accommodate our game drives. Our driver/guide, Angela, was our first female guide. She was determined that every minute was valuable to us, and it was. When she learned of an animal sighting, she was patient, and it paid off with amazing wildlife sightings, including Wildebeest crossing the river, a beautiful young lion pride, and much more. We were fortunate to also have Hamza join us, who was a wealth of knowledge, spotting amazing artifacts including an ostrich egg, an elephant's lower jaw skeleton, and a hard-to-spot python. During a walking tour with Lazarus and Hamza, we were escorted by two armed gentlemen who made us feel completely at ease to enjoy the beautiful surroundings and learn more about the flora. We were also able to view hippos from a safe distance. Once again, the meals were exceptional.”

“This was an excellent choice for a morning flight from Kilimanjaro. The room was comfortable with a small outdoor patio overlooking a beautiful garden setting. We did not have dinner, but the breakfast buffet the next morning was excellent. Anything you could want was available. The transfer the next morning was easy and quick. This is the perfect overnight stop for flights from Kilimanjaro.”

“For this tour, we had a couple of stipulations that were important to us. We wanted to stay in luxury tent camps, we did not want any long-distance travel between camps making the most of game viewing time, and once we arrived in Africa we did not want to fuss with any of the details. Natasha listened carefully to our needs. She delivered on all of these and exceeded our expectations. As this was our first tour to Africa we also needed someone who was knowledgeable and who could provide guidance on the best areas to visit with the best animal viewing opportunities. Natasha was an outstanding partner to work with on this tour. She covered every detail leaving nothing to chance. There was not a single glitch in the planning. She also guided us through our pre-tour preparation for documents and vaccine needs. Natasha was always available to us during the planning stage to answer questions. She even made arrangements for us to have coverage in the event we needed assistance during the few times that she was not available. I was very impressed with our pre-tour call when Natasha reviewed the itinerary with us in detail prior to our departure. This was a great opportunity to ask questions and be certain that we covered everything. Natasha provided us with fully personalized and exceptional service. We feel like we've made a new friend.
