“Nice lodge, but no fishing… we fished for 15 minutes from the bank, before we took the canoes, but there was no fishing allowed from the canoes?”
Bumi Hills Safari Lodge
“We had some luck fishing here because the captain tried very hard. The lodge was nice, but it was more like a hotel.”
Somalisa Camp
“Very nice lodge, but no fishing at all. We had a great tracker on our drives and got VERY close to lions. This was my favorite lodge.”
Thorntree River Lodge
“Once again, a very nice lodge, but we only caught 1 fish in total within 3 days of fishing. It was a tiger fish for my son, but he only caught 1 within 3 days. I got zero. The rhino visit was awesome.”
Staff Review
“Well, they were very attentive but I was told the fishing would improve as we moved to the different camps. My request was to fish each morning, and do other things in the afternoon… but 2 camps had no fishing… I didn’t understand that.”
